We accept PayPal, Mastercard, and Visa. We also accept USPS money orders only. Please indicate your preference as to method of payment in your email--we will send you payment instructions. Please do not send credit card information or purchase money order prior to confirmation.
We ship fresh seed year-round as they become available, and we ship world-wide in bubble-padded mailers by first class USPS. Shipping for seeds to the United States is $3.00 and international seed orders are shipped for $4.00 USD.
We ship bulbs and plants to the continental United States only. Orders consisting of only very small bulbs (Herbertias, Freesias, Ipheions, etc.) can be shipped for $8.00. Orders containing larger bulbs can usually be shipped for $12.00. Very large orders; or any order containing plants in containers, or large and heavy Crinum bulbs may require a $15.00 shipping and handling charge. We will let you know the exact shipping and handling charges when you order.
If shipping and handling costs seem a bit extragent to you; please keep in mind we must also absorb ever increasing postal rates due to the high price of oil and gas, PayPal and Credit Card fees, labels, bubble mailers, paper, moisture retentive polymer crystals for some species, and general packing materials. We also "dig to order" on many species which increases the time spent on your order and a lot of our species are very big and are shipped "in the green"--but all this extra effort does insure a much higher quality product as the bulbs/plants/rhyzomes are disturbed for a shorter period of time and transition into your garden much faster. Otherwise, prices on seeds and bulbs would have to be drastically increased.
We ship bulbs/plants/LA Iris/seeds (everything) USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation included; and always ship on a Monday or Tuesday so your order arrives promptly. All seed orders are mailed the next day.
